Multi-cloud security

Multi-cloud security refers to the set of practices, strategies, and technologies implemented to safeguard data, applications, and infrastructure across multiple cloud environments. In a multi-cloud architecture, an organization utilizes services from more than one cloud service provider. Falling into the first category, a use case of confidential computing technology is to protect companies from risks associated with multi-cloud architectures. This approach offers multiple benefits, including assurance of compliance, avoidance of vendor lock-in, secure cross-border data sharing, cost-efficiency, more choice in infrastructure-providers, and optimization of performance across various cloud providers.
